Getting to ICDE 2026

The conference will take place at 3 Avenue Pasteur, 76000, Rouen, France.

We recommend using public transportation to reach the venue.

Getting to Rouen from Paris (approx. 1h20–1h30)

Trains between Paris and Rouen can be booked via SNCF Connect:https://www.sncf-connect.com/

  • Departure station: Paris Saint-Lazare
  • Arrival station: Rouen Rive-Droite
  • Train types: TER or NOMAD regional trains 

Getting to the Conference from Rouen Train Station (approx. 15–20 minutes)

Option 1: Walking (approx. 20 minutes)

It is possible to walk directly from Rouen train station to the conference venue.
The simplest route is:

  • Follow Boulevard de la Marne
  • Then take Rue Le Nostre

Option 2: Bus (T4)

  • From: Gare – Rue Verte stop
  • Take: Bus T4
  • Get off at: Belges
  • Then walk approximately 500 meters

Option 3: Metro + Bus

  • From: Gare – Rue Verte
  • Take: Rouen Metro to Théâtre des Arts
  • Then take: Bus T1, T2, or T3
  • Get off at: Pasteur 

Public Transportation in Rouen

For participants with a French mobile plan

The easiest option is to purchase a ticket via SMS:

  • Send “V1” to 93000 before boarding
  • This provides a 1-hour ticket valid on all buses and metro lines

For participants with a foreign mobile plan

Steps:

  1. Download the app
  2. Create an account
  3. Go to “My Tickets” (Mes Titres)
  4. Purchase an M-ticket
  5. Scan the QR code inside buses or metro stations

The ICDE conference has no official hotel partnerships.

We recommend finding a hotel through Airbnb or Booking:

  • Near the university (3 Avenue Pasteur, 76000 Rouen, France)
  • On the right bank (Rouen Rive droite)

  • ORLYVAL + RER B
    • Departure from Orlyval every 7 minutes to Antony RER station
    • From Antony (same station) to Paris, departure from RER B every 15 minutes

BEAUVAIS AIRPORT

  • Shuttle BusTaxis/Uber: Beware, Beauvais airport is far from Paris, there is no fixed rate for taxis, the cost would be 170 EUR minimum.
    • From Beauvais airport : departure 20 minutes after the arrival of each flight.
    • Departure point: airport bus station between terminals 1 and 2.
    • Arrival point: Paris-Porte Maillot (boulevard Pershing, metro/RER Porte Maillot)
    • Estimated journey time: 1h15.
    • Fare: 16.90 EUR online, 18 EUR at the station/airport
